Fire Ecology Walk

Did you know that one of the longest running prescribed fire studies in the east has been conducted right here on the Outer Cape? Join Commons Keepers for a fire ecology walk and tour of Truro’s Lombard-Paradise Hollow Fire Management Research Area. Led by David Crary, former Fire Officer for the Cape Cod National Seashore, this walk is a chance to better understand the history of prescribed fire and wildland fire on the Outer Cape and to see first hand how fire can change local forest ecology.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP.
