$50,000 — Covers a full year's salary for our Program Assistant to keep our programs running smoothly.
$15,000 — Supports a full year of our Hiking & Foraging Program for Wellfleet Elementary School students, one of the few afterschool nature programs offered to the youngest members our community.
$10,000 — Funds one full CommonsKeepers Summer Apprenticeship, where an elder's hands-on knowledge — of biochar, herbalism, fire ecology, ceremony, agroforestry, or weaving — passes directly to the next generation of stewards.
$5,000 — Funds EarthKeepers, our next June gathering bringing together young women and local mentors to envision and create abundant ecosystems for the Outer Cape.
$1,000 — Certifies one volunteer in prescribed fire work, growing our Wildland Fire crew and the health of Outer Cape forests.
$500 — Sponsors one week of Plant Projects, our weekly gathering to harvest seasonal berries, work with medicinal plants, and deepen community and connection to the Outer Cape.

FireKeepers & WaterKeepers —
Two 5-day gatherings in Wellfleet bringing together young
women ages 17-30 with mentors to build community and pathways
to meaningful careers in land, water, and community stewardship.
Hiking & Foraging —
A weekly program for Wellfleet Elementary students to get
hands-on time with local plants and an understanding of
humans as a keystone species in this ecosystem.
Wildland Fire Training —
We supported more than 40 people to train and become certified in prescribed fire work.
Volunteer Burn Crew —
Our trained volunteers participated in prescribed burns across the Cape
helping to restore the health of our forests.
Plant Projects —
We are hosting a weekly gathering for locals of all ages to harvest what is in season,
learn about edible and medicinal plants, and deepen their connection
to the Outer Cape land and community.
The Nut Stomp —
Our first-ever celebration of the fall harvest that included contra dancing,
a cooking competition, nut processing, and acorn demonstrations honoring
the abundance of our oak forests.
